I think it’s safe to say that success is something we all would like to achieve. But you already know that, duh. We spend our entire lives constantly running towards the things that we believe are the answer to our prayers and will finally bring us thst success we desire.
Since I’m a total nerd when it comes to productivity books, I picked up the book “The One Thing” by Gary Keller and Jay Papasan this month and just finished it over the weekend.
First of all, If you’re looking for a motivational book to help you reach your goals, I HIGHLY recommend reading this! I’ll have a link for it down below. It’s hard to sum up the entire book into a short blog post, obviously, but there were definitely points worth sharing.
I’ll give you guys the gist of what the authors are trying to get across.

There’s nothing worse than feeling super motivated to get work done and all of the sudden, you sit down at your desk and find that you can’t even think because of how much clutter is around you. If you’ve ever tried to study or work in a chaotic and noisy environment, then you know it’s pretty much impossible to focus and be creative.
We spend so much of our life at our desks and most of the time, pay little attention to how they affect our productivity. Most of the time, our desks are just a constant reminder of all the tedious things that we need to get done and don’t want to do.
Creating a workspace that inspires and motivates you will, believe it or not, make you actually excited to sit down and get some work done.

Happy New Year!
We are officially one week into 2018. This is about the time where goals, resolutions, and plans start falling though the cracks as we go back to school and work after the holidays. We’re all guilty of it. We want to workout, but now there’s less time. We want to eat healthy, but old patterns start creeping in on us.

My backpack and duffle bag have become my trusty companions for the next 6 months. Traveling minimal is actually quite new for me, so I really had to experiment with what it is I actually need in addition to doing some research.

As some of you may know, I’ve been doing quite a bit of traveling lately and plan to continue to travel after my stay in Hawaii this summer. It honestly feels like a dream come true being able to explore all the places I’ve dreamed of going. The universe is truly abundant and aligns you with your deepest desires if you’re in tune with yourself. This lifestyle is one I’ve always longed for, but never felt achievable due to circumstances. However, I’m a firm believer that if you want something in life, you just need to make it a priority and make it happen.

No but really, it has literally been FOREVER since I wrote a post. I’m not going to lie, the main reason is because I haven’t been as inspired now that my schedule is more full. Between school, work, and now dancing; I leave the house at 7:30am and get home at 10:30pm.
This is a huge change from last semester; where I had the majority of the mornings/ afternoons to myself. I am, however, thankful for my busy schedule because it forces me to be productive. Oddly enough, this is when I am the most at peace and relaxed.
