The other day, I came across a quote that read this.
For some reason, it caused me to pause mid-day and contemplate the meaning of this on a deeper level… all during my daily coffee break at work ( Nothing like questioning the existence and meaning of life during your average day in the office. ) In any case, anything this impactful must be looked at on a deeper level in my book.

My backpack and duffle bag have become my trusty companions for the next 6 months. Traveling minimal is actually quite new for me, so I really had to experiment with what it is I actually need in addition to doing some research.
I’d be lying if I said I never used to overpack on my trips. However, I’ve actually found that having less things makes life so much easier on the go and also makes the experience much more fun! It’s nice to know that you’re using everything that you bring and also leaving space both mentally and physically to enjoy the experience and people around you. The key to traveling as minimal as possible is to pack items that can be used for multiple purposes.

Live your own Eat Pray Love
Good Morning! Looking back, I’m sad to say that I didn’t make it to my 30 day challenge. Writing every day is much harder than I anticipated. However, my new goal is to keep up with posting now that school is over and I have more time!
As some of you may know, I’ve been doing quite a bit of traveling lately and plan to continue to travel after my stay in Hawaii this summer. It honestly feels like a dream come true being able to explore all the places I’ve dreamed of going. The universe is truly abundant and aligns you with your deepest desires if you’re in tune with yourself. This lifestyle is one I’ve always longed for, but never felt achievable due to circumstances. However, I’m a firm believer that if you want something in life, you just need to make it a priority and make it happen.

Hello Everyone! It has seriously been ages since I wrote a post! This semester has been a crazy one. Between work, school, and some major life transitions I found it hard to keep up posting regularly. Now that the semester is over ( thank god ) I plan to stick to a regular schedule.
With the holidays right around the corner, I know many people will be traveling. I personally will be visiting multiple cities in just under two weeks! Plus, half of my family lives in Chicago and half lives in California, so I regularly travel between those two cities. I always get so excited for my trips to see family, of course, but also because I love to get organized and pack my suitcase! Over the years ( and through learned experience ) I have developed a system for myself when I go on my trips so I know exactly what I will need to bring to have a comfortable flight. I have tried many “hacks” on Pintrest; some worked and others, well, not so much. I’m going to be sharing some of my in flight essentials as well as practical tips that have helped me get the most of my travels. Whether your going to be traveling for two weeks or two days, hopefully you get some tips that you can take with you this holiday season!

We all wear many “hats” and play many roles in our everyday lives. Right now, I am a Marketing Manager, Coach, Student, Friend, Daughter, Sister, Blogger, Dancer, Vegan, and more. Each of these roles requires different aspects of my personality. I’ve noticed lately that it’s easy for me to get caught up in only one or two of these roles and spend less energy on the others. Life gets un balanced when we have multiple roles demanding our attention at the same time and we give too much of our attention to one of the “roles.”

Hi everyone! I was inspired to do this post about ways to organize and declutter your life because these past few weeks I noticed that I was getting a lot done, but still did not feel peace of mind. I was meditating, eating healthy, working out, but still felt a bit scatter brained and “urgent”, so to speak. I really looked at WHY I was feeling this way and what was the root of the stress. Than it hit me that there were alot of subtle things that have gone overlooked that were adding to my stress. Once I took some time to declutter these areas of my life, I felt so much better.

I feel like 24 is a scary age because your no longer young, yet you are not quite an adult. Your youthful days of going out are coming to an end and you come to terms with the fact that in 6 years you will be 30. Honestly growing up I always thought at 24 I would have my degree and I would be married, or atealst be with the person I plan to marry. This year is a special birthday since it is my golden birthday. Part of me wishes I was going on a beautiful cruise around the carribean sipping green juice and laying in the sun. I wish I could say I had big plans for my golden. But instead, I am sitting infront of this computer writing this blog post. I wanted to create something special for my golden so i’m going back and recalling the 24 most important life lessons I have learned. I hope that by sharing what I have learned it may help you remember the important lessons that life is trying to teach you.
Below are the most valuable lessons I have learned in my 24 years. These are definately not the only ones. I feel like we are always learning each day, but these lessons have shaped who I am as a person. Disclaimer: this is going to be a long one!
